In many cultures the Five Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space) are a traditional way to examine how we experience the world. This workshop series will use the framework of the Five Elements as a method to sit, move and live with what is most present for us. This is a foundational meditation practice, the purpose of which is to cultivate our capacity for attention, using a specific framework that enables us to be more aware of what patterns and beliefs affect what we pay attention to – or not. Each week will focus on a specific element and practices that can be done around that: in-class, on your own and in your daily life.
